Dartline Coaches is looking for a skilled and motivated PCV or HGV Mechanic to join our engineering team in Exeter. We also welcome applications from qualified Light Vehicle Technicians (NVQ Level 3) who are looking to develop their career, with full training provided to work on PSV vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
· Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on buses and ancillary vehicles.
· Complete scheduled safety inspections and preventative maintenance.
· Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
· Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards.
· Work collaboratively with the engineering team to keep our fleet operating reliably.
· Report directly to the Workshop Supervisor and Engineering Manager.

About You
We’re looking for someone with:
· Experience working as a PCV or HGV engineer/mechanic.
· NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or a related qualification.
· Light Vehicle Technicians with NVQ Level 3 are encouraged to apply – full PCV training will be provided.
· A positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
· The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· A PCV licence is desirable but not essential.
