Essential Requirements

Category B Driving Licence
Minimum 1 year’s driving experience
Right to work in the United Kingdom
Great customer service skills
The confidence to drive large vehicles such as coaches and double-decker buses

LOCAL BUS DRIVER

Location: Devon
Operate local bus services across the Devon network under domestic drivers’ hours regulations.
Pay: £16.07 per hour

Requirements:

Valid PCV Licence
Driver CPC

Standard shift patterns operate across a seven-day service network.

SCHOOL CONTRACT DRIVER

Location: Exeter
A term-time-only role operating morning and afternoon school services.
Pay: £16.07 per hour

COACH DRIVER

Location: Exeter or Truro
Operate private hire services, tours, and coach contracts throughout the UK, with occasional European work.
Pay: £16.07 per hour

Willingness to undertake overnight stays

TRAINEE DRIVER

Start your driving career with Dartline through our fully paid training programme.
Pay while your train: £14.90 per hour
You’ll receive comprehensive support from our Driver Training Team while gaining the qualifications and experience needed to become a professional bus or coach driver.
