Hours of work: 40 hours per week, 3-week rota (Various Shifts) Monday to Saturday

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Service Delivery Manager to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our business by leading frontline operational teams, supporting drivers and supervisors, and ensuring safe, reliable and professional service delivery across the Dartline network. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will act as a visible leader, coach and problem solver, helping to embed company values while maintaining operational performance and compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and support drivers across the operation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for drivers.
  • Provide clear, calm and consistent leadership during operational issues, incidents and service disruption.
  • Conduct welfare checks, return-to-work meetings and supportive conversations with drivers.
  • Support accident, incident and emergency response activities.
  • Ensure day-to-day service delivery meets safety, contractual and customer service standards.
  • Maintain oversight of driver compliance including Drivers’ Hours, Working Time Directive, CPC and licence requirements.
  • Undertake investigations, fact-finding and evidence gathering in line with company policy.
  • Support payroll administration and driver payroll verification processes.
  • Produce and maintain accurate operational records and reports.
  • Engage professionally with customers, schools, councils and other stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support operational change initiatives.


Role Requirements

  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience, ideally in a safety-critical or customer-facing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sound understanding of driver welfare, attendance and conduct management.
  • Ability to make balanced, fair and timely decisions under pressure.
  • Confident using operational and people management systems.
  • Organised, resilient and solutions driven.
  • Reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work.
  • Experience within passenger transport or logistics would be advantageous
